STR
370 → 390
DEF
-50
Skill: Attack up by 30% when below 25% HP.
The other hammer in the line had already been buffed to have more STR, so this minor change was made to not have it fall behind.
HP
-85
STR
370 → 385
Skill: Boosts damage to Oni-type foes by 15% for all allies.
Much like the Hammer of Despair, this equip had been left a bit behind compared to the others in its line.
STR
320 → 370
Skill: Increases the power of Soultimate Moves by 50%.
Water Dragonblade always had quite a good skill, but an underwhelming STR stat. Now it's a quite good no-drawback equip.
STR
340 → 350
DEF
0 → 30
Skill: 20% Atk 150% Def 40% MM boost 1 time when below 25% HP. →
Updated to match Master Nyada's buffed skill.
Updated to match Master Nyada's buffed skill.
As was the case with Master Nyada himself, the skill only triggering once for 20 seconds made this sword rather middling, something that was only worsened by its mediocre stats. A bit more STR and some bulk to pair with the updated skill take care of that.
STR
230 → 280
DEF
80 → 130
Skill: Ignore the effects of foe’s guard. →
Cursed Skin
Cursed Skin
Guard break is a bad skill. Cursed Skin, on the other hand, has some cool uses and fits the item a lot more. Buffed stats on top of that.
STR
260 → 280
DEF
80 → 130
Skill: Strength & Defense up when in danger. →
15% STR & 105% DEF up when below 50% HP.
15% STR & 105% DEF up when below 50% HP.
A defense increase at below 25% HP is just not great. Increasing the HP threshold at which it triggers and the effect itself should make it so that this item (and skill) become significantly more relevant. Besides that, its stats were also bad.
STR
275 → 295
SPR
-40
DEF
85 → 95
Skill: Criticals deal 75% more damage.
This equipment was already quite good despite the low STR (crits are just really strong), but an extra 30 in its overall stats makes it match the strongest of its line.
STR
290
DEF
80 → 100
Skill: Increases the power of X button moves by 40%.
80 DEF isn't enough for a STR stat below 300 —a little bump to that should help a bit.
HP
105 → 120
SPR
200 → 333
Skill: Attack up by 30% when below 25% HP.
Finally a suitable mage equip for skills like Dragon Lord's !!! The HP is a bit counterproductive, but it's a big part of the original equip and now it matches the Divine Blade.
STR
0 → 145
SPR
365
Skill: Increases damage of Fire Element attacks by 25%.
Slimamander and Ogralus go hand in hand in many ways —in particular, both their boss souls and playable forms lean strongly towards mixed sets. Wanting to improve options for mixed attackers in B++, we decided to also push that in their equip lines, making them parallels of each other. In particular, much like the Oni Smasher (Sea) has some SPR, this equip now has some STR as well.
SPR
370 → 390
DEF
-50
Skill: Increases effect of healing techniques by 30%.
Thunder God Wand had been buffed prior —the SPR increase lets this equip not fall behind the other items in its line.
SPR
370 → 400
DEF
-10 → -30
Skill: Increases revival speed by 100%.
Minor stat tweaks to make it closer to Moon God Wand.
HP
0 → 90
SPR
220 → 270
DEF
100
Skill: Increases effect of healing techniques by 30%.
This was by no means a bad item on healers previously, but it definitely fell behind when compared to others. Now, however, it has a good tradeoff between bulk and power, being a stronger option than the baubles but considerably safer than the Lunar Wand.
SPR
260 → 270
DEF
70 → 160
Skill: Spirit & Defense up when in danger. →
15% SPR & 105% DEF up when below 50% HP.
15% SPR & 105% DEF up when below 50% HP.
Much like its physical counterpart in Mayhem Manacle , this item's skill was quite bad, as were its stats. Both have been buffed though, making it a unique option that should suit some attackers.
STR
-40
SPR
275 → 305
DEF
85
Skill: 20% more likely to cause criticals.
The skill was already great, but this item just needed a bit more oomph.
HP
105
DEF
200 → 280
Skill: Reduces Ice Element damage. →
Reduces Ice Element damage by 50%.
Reduces Ice Element damage by 50%.
There were many equipment items that reduce attribute damage (4 for each attribute!), all by 30% each. This is just... not great. All these skills have been buffed to reduce damage by 50%. They also generally had quite bad stats, which we've taken care of.
DEF
310 → 385
Skill: ↑ the damage of counters and reflects by 30%. →
Mirror body
Mirror body
This equipment's skill description was the same as Mirror Body's, but this description is separate from the skill itself.
Internally, the skill is Bladed Body, which was changed along with Cutta-nah .
The equip has been fixed to use the correct skill and, on top of that, got some nice stat changes.
DEF
340 → 380
Skill: When HP falls to 0, will recover once only, at 1 HP. →
All allies' speed up by 8%
All allies' speed up by 8%
You're running so fast it's like you don't feel the effects of gravity! Now this item has a reason to exist alongside its rank 6 counterpart :)
DEF
360 → 380
Skill: Drops incoming damage by 20% and gives super armor.
This item's skill was buffed along with Sir Nyansalot's , but its description didn't reflect that... until now.
HP
105 → 205
STR
60 → 90
DEF
150 → 250
Skill: Reduces Earth Element damage. →
Increases area of effect for moves by 35%.
Increases area of effect for moves by 35%.
There are far too many Equipment items that reduce attribute damage —four for each attribute— and most of them are both weak and repetitive.
For many, given their design and description, it makes too much sense not to have a different skill, but fortunately that wasn't the case for this one.
We decided on a skill that wasn't present on Equipment previously and that would work quite well with the support Yo-kai this item is geared towards.
HP

DEF

Skill: Defense up by 105% when HP is full. →
Defense up by 140% when HP is full.
Defense up by 140% when HP is full.
The skill was buffed to match the improved Peak Condition, except with DEF instead of attack.
HP

DEF

Skill: Strength up by 5% for 15 seconds for healed allies, at (Lv10). →
STR up by 10% for 15 seconds for healed allies.
STR up by 10% for 15 seconds for healed allies.
The main change here is to the skill, making it so that it parallels Princess Pearl's .
HP
340 → 360
DEF
60 → 160
Skill: Own HP recovers when an ally is defeated.
This is one of the most unique defensive equips in the game, but previously it was hindered by mediocre stats. Now you can unleash its full potential with its added bulk.
HP
335 → 430
DEF
70 → 110
Skill: Reduces Fire Element damage. →
Absorbs fire damage and recovers 30% of it as HP.

"It's a glutton for flames" is a total lie. Well, was, because now you can eat a yummy fiery meal with this sash and, following video game logic, heal from it!
HP

DEF
0 → 45
Skill: Reduces Earth Element damage. →
I've got your back
I've got your back
Much like other attribute resistance equips, we wanted to give it some other skill that would suit the item but be less repetitive. Channeling the power of the earth sounds like something that could totally be used to raise your team's stats, so we went with that.

Ascension rate ↓ 40%, max 90%.
Ascension rate ↓ 40%, max 90%.
How many times am I gonna have to explain that too many equips that reduce elemental damage are repetitive... Anyways, instead of quite literally warding off the dead, this item makes your team not go to the realm of the dead (at least not quite so fast).

STR

Skill: Own HP restores steadily.
Similar to other equips, this item's skill was changed along with Sneaky Snacker, but item skill descriptions are separate (for whatever reason), so this wasn't reflected previously.
HP

DEF
80 → 90
Skill: Attack up by 20% when HP is full. →
SPR up by 5% for all allies.
SPR up by 5% for all allies.
A skill like the one this item previously had on a defensive equip is honestly baffling. You deal way too little damage for the increase to be meaningful, and being at full HP with such a large stat becomes much harder. We opted for a support skill instead, letting defensive Yo-kai still offensively contribute, even if just a little bit.

Absorbs water damage and recovers 30% of it as HP.
I am SICK and TIRED of equip descriptions LYING to your face. No, a 30% damage reduction from water damage is not protecting you from all water damage. It's not a good skill either, so we fixed both issues.

This was definitely a good equipment before for the skill alone, but the stats were too weak not to tweak them a bit. We also changed the skill to affect everyone because that just makes it more interesting while not being too strong.

I could go on for way too long for something like this, but, summarizing, the skill was bad before, and it's good now. It also suits the description very well, and the bauble's lower SPR stat makes it so that there's a tradeoff for healers that may want to use this. Definitely one of my favorite equip reworks!
